Yay for new computers!! It'll be much more exciting when I get internet at home, but for now I'm hanging out in a hotel in Nebraska, so I'm using their wifi and I was determined to post something on this stupid blog :)
Most people are probably aware that I visited Nikki in England this summer, and of course I went birding, so I'm going to post just a few pictures of some birds I saw. If I get around to it later, I'll write out something more thorough with pretty pictures of England and Paris, but for now, to the birds! These aren't all of them (the Hawk Zoo will come later), just the ones that were easy to post and didn't require much editing because I'm still getting the hang of the commands on this laptop.

Like I said, I saw a LOT more than this and I even have pictures of quite a few more, I just lack the ability to edit them into something worth seeing. On my birdwatching trip to Portsmouth, I saw about 30 species of bird, and then for the rest of the trip I bet I saw maybe another 10 or 15, so it was a lot of fun. It helps to have a patient sister who indulges your birding and a brother-in-law who's willing to get up at 5:30am to take you to the train. Thanks guys!!

YAY. How do you like your new puter?
I like it a lot but it's a little frustrating because I don't know how to do a lot of things either because I don't know the commands on the touch pad or I just don't know how things work. I'll get the hang of it eventually.
