Yay for Izzie!

That's what got her into trouble in the first place!!

Since I put her on the weight loss food, she has lost almost a pound (0.8lbs). Yay for Izzie! When she gets down to fighting weight I'll put a new photo up. In the meantime, here's the before photo!

Old Pics

So I was going through one of my drawers and found some printed pictures that I had taken around Christmas of 2002. So on a complete whim I scanned them into the computer and here are some of the best. I may be disowned by parts of my family after this :)

This is Anna with her nephew Thomas. Thomas is now 5 I think and has 2 little brothers (and a cousin, Anna's daughter Allison).

No Michael, this isn't the worst one, just wait...

Two pretty good ones here of Grandpa:

If you can't tell, this is the year Michael joined the Air Force, we all got Air Force stuff for Christmas :)

I love this picture because Grandma took the time to wrap Mom and Dad's presents in their favorite colors (Dad's is green, Mom's is obviously red).

Grandma S. bought all the guys matching robes (obviously). I love this picture.

This is Uncle Ralph sleeping and Jan trying not to laugh while pretending to sleep. She had been sleeping and when I was about to take the picture she woke up so I made her lay back down.

Awwww! Smokey!

Mom may kill me for the second one, but I think it's adorable. I think she looks adorable in both of these!

Here's the worst one! This is at Michael's Basic Training graduation in San Antonio, TX. The glasses are called BCG's. Stands for Birth Control Glasses. Love it!

I'm Alive!

I'm back! Sorry no posting while I was in Indiana. I went on a business trip and was gone for nearly 2 weeks. I planned it around when Nikki and Tyler would be there before they moved to Italy. We had a great time, watched movies good (Stardust) and bad (Lake Placid 2). I got to meet all the babies including Jen's son Brendan who was born on February 12th while I was there. Unfortunately I have no pictures because I was too lazy to recharge the battery on my camera and my sister's new snazzy camera was so much more fun to play with. So hopefully, she'll send me some of those when she gets internet access (God really only knows when that will be). In the meantime, hope these tide you over.
Here's everyone at Nikki & Tyler's going away party:

And here's one of me cuddling with Hoss:

And here's one of Abby's portraits that I can now post since Mom finally sent them to Christine:

Hallelujah!!!!

I like to think of this, where Tom Brady fumbled and lost the football as my favorite moment of the night. Or maybe when Bill Belichek walked off the field w/ one second left to play and didn't congratulate the other teams coach, thereby showing his true colors (for the 80th time). But this time it's pretty irrefutable. I like to think of the groans in unison in Boston and of all the bandwagoners when Eli threw for that last touchdown. I really like that a Manning, even if it wasn't ours, was the one to beat them. But mostly I like that this team will go down in history as having choked as big you can on the biggest stage. And even though I'm not a Dolphins fan, I like that there was some serious champagne bottles popping tonight because the freaking 2007 Patriots will not go down as the greatest team in football. We all knew it, we all saw their weaknesses, but now here's the proof and it couldn't be sweeter!!

Yay Mannings!! Keeping the Patriots from winning a Super Bowl 2 years in a row and counting...

10 minutes later: I'm listening to the Bellichek "Press conference" and I am giggling like a schoolgirl. Like a drunk schoolgirl. He's such a douche.

I'm reveling in the schadenfreude right now. Here are some of my favorite posts from blogs I've been reading:

Somewhere in South America, a village is getting a shipment of "19-0" T-shirts
A win for America
Cheaters never win
Incontrovertible proof that THERE IS A GOD
Was the game good? I was watching the Puppy Bowl.
Can we confirm that the Sports Guy is alive? Good lord put him on suicide watch.
Has Gisele dumped Brady yet?
Inconceivable! (posted by a Sicilian) - if you don't get the reference, I'll disown you.

And my favorite:

Stay Classy, Bill Belichek.

Bill's Housewarming Party!

So last night Bill had his housewarming party. Unfortunately my pictures don't do justice to the house. Mostly I was mesmerized by Katie's prom dress and couldn't stop taking pictures of it :) I swear I'm not stalking you Katie! Anyway, we had a lot of fun, there were games, some food, and some dancing. And maybe a few drinks. Maybe. Oh, and it was "Dress to Impress" which is why we're all wearing dresses and Katie's wearing her teal and purple AWESOME dress :)

Also, I have some video, but I am an idiot and kept turning the camera from horizontal to vertical while I was filming and the picture does not turn once you put it on the computer. So. I'm looking for some video editing software that will allow me to cut it into little pieces, then I'll post it. ;)

Beer Pong:
I think this is the cutest picture of Katie, she's giggling I think, but she just looks bashful.

Like I said, we may have consumed some alcohol. But don't worry Mom, we stayed over like responsible adults :)

DANCING:

See!? Her dress is mesmerizing, especially next to that chandelier!

Ole'!

This (below) is my favorite picture!! It's about as artsy as I get :)

After Bill's co-workers tried to give him a "faux-hawk". That's Kitty making a go of it there.

The Next Morning:

Massive Apple Pancake of some kind.
Yummy crepes!
